Het kunstwerk is gemaakt door Jacob van Ruisdael. The 350 year old version of the artpiece has the size of height: 69 cm width: 53,3 cm | height: 27,2 in width: 21 in. Oil on canvas was used by the artist as the technique for the work of art. The original artwork's inscription is the following: getekend: JvRuisdael. The piece of art is in the the Mauritshuis's art collection, which the Mauritshuis is home to the best artworks of Dutch painting of the seventeenth century. The work of art, which is in the publiek domein wordt opgenomen met dank aan Mauritshuis, Den Haag.
