Gerrit Toorenburgh creëerde het kunstwerk met de titel "View of the River Amstel in Amsterdam". De versie van het meesterwerk meet de grootte: hoogte: 39 cm breedte: 47 cm | hoogte: 15,4 in breedte: 18,5 in. Oil on canvas was used by the European painter as the medium of the painting. "Signed: Toorenburgh / Pinxit" was the artwork's original inscription. What is more, the artpiece is included in the collection of Mauritshuis. Met dank aan Mauritshuis, Den Haag (gelicentieerd - publiek domein). Bovendien heeft het kunstwerk de volgende kredietlijn: Purchased after 1817. Verder is uitlijning van de digitale reproductie Landschap met een zijverhouding van 1.2 : 1, wat betekent dat de lengte is 20% langer dan de breedte.
