The painter, graphic artist Leo Gestel was a European artist from the Netherlands, whose style can be attributed primarily to Expressionism. The Expressionist artist was born in 1881 te Woerden, Zuid Holland, Netherlands en overleden op de leeftijd van 60 in het jaar 1941 in Hilversum, Noord-Holland, Nederland.
