In 1874 the American artist Thomas Eakins created this realist painting "John Biglin in a Single Scull". The over 140 year-old original version was painted with the size: 24 3/8 x 16 inch (61,9 x 40,6 cm) ingelijst: 36 1/8 x 27 5/8 x 4 1/2 inch (91,8 x 70,2 x 11,4 cm).
