Christian Griepenkerl was a male painter, university teacher of Austrian nationality, whose art style can mainly be classified as Realism. The painter was born in 1839 in Oldenburg, Lower Saxony, Germany and passed away at the age of 77 in het jaar 1916 in Wenen, deelstaat Wenen, Oostenrijk.
