• Canvas: The canvas print, not to be mistaken with a painting on a canvas, is an image printed directly on canvas fabric. It makes the typical look of three dimensionality. The advantage of canvas prints is that they are relatively low in weight, which means that it is quite simple to hang the Canvas print without the use of extra wall-mounts. Hence, canvas prints are suited for any type of wall.
• Aluminium dibond print: This is a metal print manufactured on aluminium dibond material with an outstanding depth. The bright & white parts of the artwork shine with a silky gloss, however without the glare. The colors of the print are luminous, details of the print are clear and crisp, and you can feel the matte appearance of the product.
• De poster print op canvas materiaal: De Artprinta poster print is a UV printed sheet of flat cotton canvas paper with a slightly rough texture on the surface, which reminds the actual version of the artwork. Please keep in mind, that depending on the absolute size of the poster we add a white margin of around 2-6cm around the print to facilitate the framing with your custom frame.
• De print op plexiglas (met echte glascoating): A glossy print on acrylic glass, often referred to as a UV print on plexiglass, will turn your favorite original into brilliant wall décor. With an acrylic glass fine art print contrasts as well as minor color details will be more exposed due to the fine gradation. The real glass coating protects your custom art print against light and external influences for many years.

Belangrijke informatie: We try everything to describe the products as closely as possible and to illustrate them visually. Although, the tone of the printing material and the imprint can differ slightly from the presentation on your screen. Depending on your screen settings and the condition of the surface, color pigments can unfortunately not be printed 100% realistically. Given that all are processed and printed manually, there might as well be slight differences in the exact position and the size of the motif.

Writing in the 1880s, one New Yorker fondly reminisced about the black women who stood in the streets tempting passersby with a baked pear "carried around in a deep-glazed earthenware dish, floating deliciously in a warm bath of home-made syrup." Despite the writer’s nostalgia, the baked pear sellers suffered the same lot as the rest of the city’s hucksters—a group largely comprised of impoverished blacks and white women and children who struggled to survive in the lowest rungs of society. The location depicted is Duane Street Park, at the intersection of Duane and Hudson, just north of the fashionable third ward.
