Nederlands: Veel van de Zweedse kunstenaars die naar Frankrijk gingen, vonden hun weg naar Normandië. Ze werden beïnvloed door de schilderstijl van Charles-François Daubigny. De wind, de lucht en het getij zorgden voor steeds nieuwe schilderkunstige uitdagingen. In hun streven naar realisme zochten ze onderwerpen als de droge zeebodem met zeewier, alsof ze afstand probeerden te nemen van alles wat als schoonheid kon worden ervaren. In hun zeegezichten portretteerden de kunstenaars vaak mensen die mosselen verzamelden. Deze taak was zowel zwaar als gevaarlijk. Het werd vaak uitgevoerd door vrouwen en kinderen. Flera uit de Zweedse Frankische landen gaat door tot Normandië. Blåsten, skyarna en tidvattnet bjöd stand-by-nya måleritekniska utmaningar. Ik heb een realisme-mannetje gevonden dat de neiging heeft om afstand te nemen – omdat het zo ver is dat het zo gemakkelijk is om te kopen. Aan de kust kan een beroep worden gedaan op een landschap met veel mogelijkheden met betrekking tot de musslor. Het kan gaan om risico's en risico's, en vaak wordt er gebruik gemaakt van kvinnor en schuur.
