Dit kunstwerk is gemaakt door de mannetje kunstenaar Frederik Portier. Het hiernamaals 100 year-old original was made with the following size Afbeelding: 325 mm (breedte), 408 mm (hoogte) en werd beschilderd met de techniek of olie aan boord. Tegenwoordig is het kunstwerk te bezichtigen in de Museum van Nieuw-Zeeland - Te Papa Tongarewa's art collection, which is the national museum of New Zealand, with a great collection of artworks that contain deep ancestral links to the indigenous Māori population of New Zealand. We are delighted to state that the artwork, which belongs to the public domain is being included, courtesy of Self portrait, 1915, by Frederick Porter. Purchased 2010. Te Papa (2010-0018-1/a). Additionally, the artwork has the creditline: Purchased 2010. In addition to that, the alignment of the digital reproduction is in portrait format with a ratio of 1: 1.2, wat betekent dat de lengte 20% korter is dan de breedte.

The work of art is made with state-of-the-art UV direct print machines. The major upside of a plexiglass art print is that contrasts as well as small details become identifiable due to the very fine gradation.
