The decoration of the nave of Notre-Dame-de-Lorette dedicated to the Virgin of life was achieved by eight painters, between 1833 and 1835. Originally, the Langlois composition was to occupy one of the small panels height, which is confirmed by a preliminary drawing stored in a private collection in Paris. The sketch of the Carnavalet Museum adopts a composition in width, taken in the final painting. In 1836, Langlois was commissioned two other compositions for the same church: "The Virgin appearing to St Theresa" and "Ecstasy of Saint Teresa."

- De posterafdruk (canvasmateriaal): Our poster print is a UV printed sheet of canvas with a granular surface finish. The poster print is ideally suited for putting the art copy with a special frame. Please keep in mind, that depending on the absolute size of the poster we add a white margin of something between 2 - 6cm around the artwork to facilitate the framing with a custom frame.
- Aluminium dibond (metalen print): An Aluminium Dibond print is a material with a true effect of depth. The bright and white components of the artpiece shine with a silk gloss but without the glare.
- Canvasafdruk: A canvas print, which should not be confused with a real painting on a canvas, is a digital copy applied directly on canvas.
