Today, this work of art belongs to the Belvedère verzameling. The painter Hans Makart was an artist, whose artistic style can mainly be assigned to Historicism. The Austrian artist was born in the year 1840 in Salzburg, Salzburg, Austria and passed away at the age of 44 in het jaar 1884.
