For our Aluminium Dibond print, we print your artpiece on the aluminium white-primed surface. The bright components of the original work of art shine with a silky gloss but without any glare.
  • Gedrukte affiche (canvasmateriaal): De Artprinta poster is a printed canvas paper with a slightly roughened surface structure. Please bear in mind, that depending on the absolute size of the canvas poster print we add a white margin of something between 2-6 cm round about the painting, which facilitates the framing with your custom frame.
  • Bedrukt acrylglas (met echte glascoating bovenop): The print on acrylic glass, which is often named as a print on plexiglass, changes the original into marvellous home decoration. The great upside of an acrylic glass fine art print is that contrasts and also minor details become identifiable due to the very fine gradation in the print. What does the website of the The Metropolitan Museum of Art write about this artwork from the painter Goya? (© Copyright - Het Metropolitan Museum of Art - Het Metropolitan Museum of Art)

In the spring of 1778 Goya submitted an oil cartoon depcting the blind guitatist to the Royal Tapestry Factory of Santa Barbara in Madrid for it to be woven into a tapestry. Because of the complexity of the design it proved too difficult for the weavers to interpret and alterations had to be made. This etching - his largest ever and the only print after one of his own works - is thought to record his first design before he modified it. The modified cartoon is today in the Museo del Prado, Madrid. Goya recognized the ability of the etching medium to convey minute detail and in this print, he emphasises the different expressions of those surrounding the guitarist. Few impresions of this print are known. This is a working proof touched by the artist with graphite.
