Bacchus en Ariadne is a painting made by Jacob van Loo in 1650. The 370 years old version of the painting was painted with the size of unframed: 167,64 x 142,24 cm (66 x 56 in) framed: 188 x 162,2 cm (74 x 63 7/8 in). Olieverf op canvas was used by the painter as the medium of the artpiece. The work of art is in the the art collection of Yale University Art Gallery in New Haven, Connecticut, Verenigde Staten. Met dank aan: De kunstgalerie van de Yale-universiteit (gelicentieerd - publiek domein). : Geschenk van John Walsh, 1961. Daarnaast is de uitlijning Portret en heeft een beeldverhouding van 1 : 1.2, dat wil zeggen de lengte is 20% korter dan de breedte. The painter Jacob van Loo was a European artist from the Netherlands, whose art style can mainly be attributed to Baroque. The painter was born in the year 1614 in Sluis, Zeeland, Netherlands and died at the age of 56 in het jaar 1670.
