Deze schets maakt deel uit van een set van vier panelen die werden gepresenteerd tijdens de wedstrijd die in 1933 door de stad Parijs werd georganiseerd om de binnenplaats van de meisjesschool aan de Dupleixstraat in het vijftiende arrondissement te versieren. Het door Henri Nozais voorgestelde decor had betrekking op landschappen in de traditie van de kalendercyclus die elk van de locaties in een bepaald seizoen vertegenwoordigt. Deze set werd door de jury niet verkozen ten gunste van die van Jean Robert La Montagne Saint Hubert, winnaar van deze wedstrijd.
