Dit meesterwerk uit de 18e eeuw Loflied van Simeon is gemaakt door de kunstenaar Arent de Gelder in 1700. The over 320 years old original creation was painted with the size: hoogte: 94,5 cm breedte: 107,5 cm | hoogte: 37,2 in breedte: 42,3 in. Olieverf op canvas was applied by the painter as the technique for the painting. Furthermore, the artpiece is included in the Mauritshuis collectie, waarin het Mauritshuis de beste kunstwerken van de Nederlandse schilderkunst uit de zeventiende eeuw herbergt.
