In 1891 Leo Gestel painted this moderne kunst kunstwerk "Karikatuur van Leo Gestel op zijn ziekbed". Verder behoort het kunstwerk tot de Rijksmuseum's digitale collectie, het grootste museum voor Nederlandse kunst en geschiedenis van de Middeleeuwen tot heden. Leo Gestel was a male painter, graphic artist from the Netherlands, whose style can primarily be classified as Expressionism. The painter lived for 60 jaar en is geboren in 1881 in Woerden, Zuid-Holland, Nederland en stierf in het jaar 1941.
