Het originele meesterwerk heeft de volgende tekst als inscriptie: signed and dated right (engraved) on the arm: Jos. Bayer / 829. Dit kunstwerk bevindt zich in de the Belvedère digitale kunstcollectie. Met genoegen kunnen wij mededelen dat het kunstwerk, dat toebehoort aan de publiek domein wordt geleverd met dank aan © Belvedere, Wenen, inventarisnummer: 2695. De creditline van het kunstwerk is: overdracht van het Kunsthistorisches Museum, Wenen in 1927. The painter Josef Bayer was an artist, whose style was primarily Realism. The Realist painter was born in 1805 in Wenen en stierf op 26-jarige leeftijd in het jaar 1831 in Wenen.
