- De print op plexiglas: An print on acrylic glass, often referred to as a plexiglass print, transforms your favorite original artwork into amazing décor. Your work of art is printed with modern UV direct printing machines. The special effect of this are vivid and impressive colors. With a glossy acrylic glass art print contrasts and minor details will be more identifiable thanks to the subtle tonal gradation.
- De posterafdruk (canvasmateriaal): Our poster is a printed flat cotton canvas with a granular surface structure. Please keep in mind, that depending on the absolute size of the poster we add a white margin between 2-6cm around the print, which facilitates the framing.
- Canvasafdruk: A printed canvas, not to be mistaken with a painting on a canvas, is a digital copy printed on a cotton canvas material. A canvas produces the unique effect of three dimensionality. Also, a canvas generates a familiar and warm atmosphere. How can I hang a canvas print on my wall? Canvas prints are relatively low in weight. This means, it is quite simple to hang your Canvas print without extra wall-mounts. That is why, canvas prints are suitable for all kinds of walls.
Belangrijke opmerking: We try our utmost to describe the art products as exact as possible and to illustrate them visually. Although, the pigments of the printed materials, as well as the printing might vary marginally from the representation on the screen. Depending on the settings of your screen and the quality of the surface, colors can unfortunately not be printed as exactly as the digital version. Given that the art prints are processed and printed by hand, there may as well be minor discrepancies in the size and exact position of the motif.
Original artwork specifications by The Metropolitan Museum of Art (© - The Metropolitan Museum of Art - Het Metropolitan Museum of Art)
Like David’s Virgin and Child with Four Angels (displayed nearby), this picture reflects the popularity of Van Eyck’s Virgin and Child at the Fountain. Formerly attributed to Jan van Eyck and Petrus Christus, it is now known to have been painted about 1500, at a moment of renewed interest in Van Eyck’s art. The anonymous artist adopted the standing figure of the Virgin, who is lovingly embracing her Child, but placed her within a flamboyant Gothic niche adorned with statuettes of the Old Testament figures of Moses and Isaiah (above) and of the personifications of the Church and Synagogue (below).
